International Herald Daily News’ David Nye described her “Enigmatic and captivating!” Showbiz Time magazine called her “The incomparable!” The Los Angeles Times wrote: The indomitable Miss Peggy Judy just won't stay down!” A woman larger than life on and off stage, writer extraordinaire, singer, cartoonist and actress, Molly Brandenburg is best known to nightclub comedy audiences as her original creation, lounge singer 60’s movie starlet and rehab veteran Miss Peggy Judy. A dizzy legend in her own mind, Miss Peggy Judy has been wowing audiences up and down the West coast with her uniquely bent brand of comedy cabaret—all based on her stories of life in the Hollywood fastlane, put across in a vocal style called “powerful” and “electrifying” by San Francisco and Los Angeles  critics. With acclaimed performances in top venues in LA (The Gardenia Room, The Improv, The Cinegrill, The M Bar and many more) San Francisco (Steve Murray’s Viva Variety Shows, The Plush Room) and Palm Springs (Heaven Nightclub, Blame it On Midnight) Brandenburg/Peggy is a comedy force to be reckoned with. Formerly an award-winning movie advertising copywriter, Brandenburg left the corporate world behind to venture out solo as a performer and creative writer midway into the new millennium.  Her first book of cartoons, Everyday Cat Excuses is currently featured on amazon.com and can be seen at http://www.EverydayCatExcuses.com. Ms. Brandenburg is currently at work on a solo performance piece, in collaboration with Gary Austin, (founder and original director of the Groundlings Theater) entitled Banquo’s Ghost, based on the life of her father, artist and physician Dr. John Brandenburg, who died of Alzheimer’s disease in 2005.

As a stage actress, Ms. Brandenburg’s credits include a featured role in The Company of Angels Theater’s acclaimed production of Waiting For Lefty. Her character voices can be heard on the Star Trek CD-Rom Star Trek: Judgement Rites, with the original series cast. Along with her work as a performer, Ms. Brandenburg has recently teamed with Peter Bergman, of the legendary Firesign Theater Comedy Group, to help create Radio-Club After School,  a nonprofit organization formed with the goal of bringing creative empowerment to children through improvisation, writing and radio theater. Radio Club was recently awarded a grant from the Los Angeles Dept. of Cultural Affairs, and from the El Cucuy Foundation.

Randy Ruff, Bass piano Goddess Jackie Curry, Bass guitar/tech genius/nicest guy on the planet Nick Massie, Percussion/suspected Indian royal prince Mohi Chand. Four great friends who gave their incredible talents to give Miss Peggy her start back at the Company of Angels Theater. Those were the days!
