ROSTER
OF THE WORLD WHO'S WHO IN JAZZ, CABARET, MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT
2007
THIS ROSTER CONTAINS EXCLUSIVELY THOSE WHO WERE WRITTEN UP IN DEPTH AND AT LENGTH IN VOLUMES I, II, III, IV, V
LISTED IN VOLUME V
Almost 7,000 names listed under various categories.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1-Names are listed by date of inclusion and profile entry. Although, names are listed under letters in an alphabetical order, the integral listing is not. The editors of the World Who's Who stated that because of new names were constantly added and nominations reviewed and some were accepted after the deadlines, it has become quasi impossible to integrate and list all names alphabetically. In a forthcoming edition, a new layout of listing shall take effect. 2-The Who's Who contains thousands of names listed under different categories. Those who are listed in this roster pertain to artists who were written up in depth and at length. Others were mentioned with a brief profile entry according to their professions and styles. 3-The list of names is not final. This means that in the second edition, many names are subject to deletion and or inclusion in virtue of the inclusion criteria. Those who don't complete and submit the Inclusion Form will not be included in the new edition of the World Who's Who. 4-If you do not find your name in this roster, it does not imply that you are not included in the World Who's Who. You have to refer to the various charts, tables and lists arranged by styles, and new dates of entries. They are included in the addendum. The addendum of new listing of names can be found at the end of each volume. 5-Inclusion: Only by invitation and or nomination and recommendation by the author and editorial board of the World Who's Who. However, you can still submit the Inclusion form for consideration. For more information, write to Carol Lexter at carollexter@aol.com 6-Additional criteria: All those who are included in the Who's Who are professional artists with significant contributions to the music, showbiz, entertainment and performing arts industries. Fame and fortune were not the primordial reasons for inclusion. Merits and accomplishments were. 7-Five volumes are already in print. Volume six is under preparation. Therefore, you can still write to them and ask for inclusion in the new tomes.
